Here's how they work:

How to operate your Fragrance Express™ Diffuser: (see photo above)
1.    Remove the replaceable fragrance disc from the foil package and lift off the decorative figure top.
2.    Place the fragrance disc over the LED light as shown.
3.    Insert the adaptor into the fragrance machine, plug it in, and turn it on.
4.    Control the amount of fragrance that is diffused by adjusting the built in fan speed control feature.
